Green Bay Packers running back Jamaal Williams just saved himself from a good amount of mockery and scorn after a locker room slip-up. When a reporter asked Williams a question after the Packers win over the Panthers, the RB legitimately stopped listening about halfway through. Williams’ reaction was priceless.
After one of his best games of the season in an exciting win, Williams can get a pass on this one.
Williams ran for 63 yards on just 13 carries in Green Bay’s 24-16 win over Kyle Allen and the Carolina Panthers. The 24-year-old was able to put his nightmarish concussion behind him and has emerged as one of the best change of pace backs in the NFL thanks to his excellent vision and short burst.
Williams and the Packers are off to a flying start under Matt LaFleur, and the BYU product has added a physical, north-south component to their running game.
