Jerry Seinfeld postpones Sept. 5 Savannah show; moves show to Sept. 26

Jerry Seinfeld’s Sept. 5 show in Savannah has been postponed due to Hurricane Dorian, according to a press release. The show has been rescheduled for Sept. 26 at 7 p.m.

Tickets purchased for the original date will be honored for the new date. For those who purchased tickets but are unable to attend the show on Sept. 26 show, you may obtain a refund on the tickets. Ticket holders who purchased online at or via phone with Etix  may call Etix directly at 1-800-514-3849 for a refund.

The Savannah Civic Center Box Office is closed for Labor Day and will remain closed until further notice due to Hurricane Dorian.


Savannah Magazine’s Best of Savannah party postponed

The Best of Savannah 2019 party, hosted by Savannah Magazine, schedule for Sept. 6 has been postponed. A new date will be announced.


Live Oak Public Libraries

All Live Oak Public Libraries branches in Chatham, Effingham, and Liberty Counties will be closed Tuesday, September 3 and Wednesday, September 4, 2019, due to potential severe weather conditions associated with Hurricane Dorian.

Beverly Willett’s Sept. 5 book launch at 24e Design Co. has been postponed until further notice.

Telfair Museums

All three of Telfair Museums’ sites (Jepson Center, Telfair Academy, and the Owens-Thomas House & Slave Quarters) will be closed Monday, September 2 through at least Friday, September 6 due to Hurricane Dorian.
